Over the course of four years, this masterpiece was created. From the imagination of its owner, Chris, his dream Mk2 was born from the same car he’d owned since he was a 21 year old when it was purchased new in 1979.
First brought to us in 2018, the vehicle had sat for over two decades and was in a state of disrepair. Our expert team began the process of stripping the car down to make the core of the car as strong as possible, removing and replacing rusted panels, parts of the chassis and assessing which original parts could be restored and which needed to be replaced.
